Toyota Is About to Launch a Co-Branded Credit Card

Automotive affinity credit cards have a high rating in the priority scheme of car drivers. Such cards allow car owners to save money on gasoline expenses and earn points towards discounts on car maintenance, repair and services. Though far not all car brands have affinity programs with credit card companies, many drivers can find a credit card for his or her car brand. Subaru, Volkswagen, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Mercedes-Benz, Lexus, and some others have their affinity credit cards.

Toyota, one of the most popular foreign car brands in the USA. Soon Toyota owners will be able to benefit from their car brand affinity credit card.

Toyota co-branded credit cards are expected to be launched this October. Toyota Motor Corp. has finally announced their intention to join other automobile dealers that have taken their place in affinity car credit cards market niche. Thus, auto dealers partnering with credit card providers will soon welcome a new rival.

The promotional campaign that is to start in October, promises to be pretty aggressive. The credit card sales are expected to break the records and outdo other car brands' credit card customer volume. No wonder, buying a Toyota is easier to afford than an Audi, Lexus, Mercedes or BMW.

The Toyota cards reward program's scheme will bring nothing new. Just like other point rewards credit cards, Toyota-branded plastic will enable its owners to collect rewards points and redeem them for eligible merchandise and something else... Toyota credit card owners will earn 5 rewards points per dollar spent at participating retailers and 1.5 points for other expenses.

This card will give you much more than just a gasoline credit card.

Besides the generous number of points granted for every dollar you spend on Toyota dealership, you will get a great chance to accrue rewards points towards your brand-new Toyota. Toyota card holders will get an opportunity to cut up to 10% of the car price just through using the plastic for everyday purchases.

The benefits of automotive affinity credit cards are obvious. To car owners, at least. The research shows that such card owners more willingly and more often turn to car service to check their cars or get them repaired than car owners without car plastics. One of the major reasons for that is point rewards a car credit card owner gets for getting their car done.

Such affinity card deals, offering various credit card options, are beneficial for all three parties engaged. Card users get rewards, discounts and other perks associated with buying a car, its maintenance and car service. Credit card companies get additional revenues from credit card fees and interest rates. Automobile companies get their snatch. Plus, through such affinity credit cards they tie the loyalty knot between the company and the customer.

At some point, entering an already existing niche of credit card market that has a stable infrastructure is easier than being a pioneer. Toyota can use the experience of its competitors to study the spending habits of car credit card holders. That is, actually, what Toyota Company is engaged in at present. The group of analysts studies the spending behavior of Lexus card owners - Toyota's luxury brand.

So, Toyota car owners, start your engines and begin your final countdown for Toyota credit card appearance.

The subject of credit card use by young adults is much talked about online and offline, in magazine and internet articles. There are supporters and opponents of issuing plastics to young people among credit consumers and financial experts. However, many of those hair-raising tales about graduates that collect enormous debts are just boogieman stories. The statistics shows that young people became more reasonable in credit card management and most of them do not have loads of debts.

A recent opinion poll conducted among college students revealed that 92% of young adults realize that damage credit history and low credit score could have a negative effect on their future financial standing and cause problems with qualifying for loans.
