Compare Credit Card Deals Including Many Rewards to Benefit the Consumers!
Do you wish you could cash in better with your credit card offer? Yeah, you probably do, and guess what- you're not alone! Credit card companies are starting to get pretty competitive with what they offer you and now instead of just lower interest rates, they are giving their customers great rewards programs. Each time you pull out your credit card in order to make a purchase you will be racking up what are known as ‘bonus points' which will give you more benefits. Most companies go off of around 1 point per dollar spent. Whether you choose to spend your rewards on restaurant gift certificates or free airline tickets, you can! Credit card companies are making it easier then ever for you to cash in!
Just how popular are these reward credit cards? Well, in the United States over half of the credit card offers include rewards programs in some extent, some better then others. While these cards often have a higher rate of interest, they usually don't come with an annual fee (outside of the frequent flier miles cards). If you have the discipline to consistently pay off your balance at the end of the month then a rewards credit card is probably the best choice for you!
Just How Good Is a Reward Credit Card?
If you are serious about getting the best out of your credit card then you will want to compare the best credit cards on the market. A rewards card is only as good as the program that you have and you have to be especially careful when looking at your lifestyle and your purchases.
One of the most popular credit card rewards program consists of airline miles or frequent flier miles. With one of these credit cards you are able to get free plane tickets just by using your card consistently! The only thing is, an airline credit card just may not be the best choice for you. Why? Well, most airline cards come with some sort of annual fee. Annual fees will range from $25 to $125 and in order to get a free ticket you are going to need 25,000 points (or spend roughly $25,000!). At this rate you could charge $8000 per year on your credit card and it would still take over 3 years before you got a free ticket! It just doesn't fit the needs of every consumer so you should be aware of your spending.
If you charge a lot of money to your credit card on a consistent basis then an airline credit card is a great choice but only if you pay your balance off each month too. Airline credit cards are far from fee free and don't exactly come with a zero percent interest rate! In fact, most rewards cards are pretty high in interest and have severe penalties if you are late or miss a payment. Airline cards are typically reserved for those who spend more and fly frequently!
Remember, there are two basic types of rewards programs- cash back credit cards and regular rewards programs. Both have their incentives and both offer different features. You should really look into what you want in a credit card before you apply for either. If you want a few tips on how to choose and handle your new credit card, look below for help:
- Various rewards are a great thing to have! Any credit card that gives you hotel discounts and gasoline discounts to accompany your frequent flier miles is a great thing. Variety is the best tool for most consumers!
- Only use one rewards program credit card! When you use more then one credit card at a time you will risk not benefiting yourself the in best way possible. Why? When you use one credit card exclusively you will add up credit card ‘bonus points' and you will be able to get all kinds of new things!
- Only get a rewards card if you plan on paying your full balance each statement! If you tend to carry a balance then you probably won't want a rewards card because your interest level will be much higher. Don't expect a 0% interest rate- you'll be looking more at 15% +! Low interest rate credit cards are usually reserved for all the introductory period offers you are getting in the mail. You can't expect to pay low rates in exchange for such great benefits.
- Spend up! The faster you spend your points the better. Credit card companies have the ability to change their regulations regarding their points so if you spend quickly you will have a better chance of getting what you earned.

The subject of credit card use by young adults is much talked about online and offline, in magazine and internet articles. There are supporters and opponents of issuing plastics to young people among credit consumers and financial experts. The statistics shows that young people became more reasonable in credit card management and most of them do not have loads of debts.
A recent opinion poll conducted among college students revealed that 92% of young adults realize that damage credit history and low credit score could have a negative effect on their future financial standing and cause problems with qualifying for loans.

All good information! Everyone should read it before applying for a credit card with rewards. But in fact, few people read fine print about interests and so on when they see the word REWARDS. Mind - there is no sweet without sweat!
