Compare Credit Cards to Get Instant Approval for Good Credit

Junk mail fills your mailbox daily. And every time there is at least one envelope in there from a credit card company boasting about how you are pre-approved for their new platinum card. Even when you compare credit card online and apply, there is always the statement of how you can get instant approval or guaranteed approval. What is with all this approval? And why do you keep getting pre-approved?

Here is your answer: You have good credit. It is that good credit that attracts all these credit card offers. Face it; you are the honey and the credit card companies are the bears searching you out. So automatically you can get that card because they already know you will be a good investment; responsible, timely, and are not very likely to cost them any money.

But what have you been doing with all those credit card offers? Undoubtedly tearing them up and tossing them into the trash. But wait – are you fond of your current credit card? Is it a good credit card or do you think you could do better?

Some of those credit card offers might actually have some honey themselves. Open a few up the next time you get them and see what they have to offer. Credit card reward programs have recently become all the rage (even debit cards offer rewards now), and if you realize your credit card offers absolutely nothing, you might want to get in on the rewards card craze. It’s one fad that will pay off. What would you look for in your rewards card? Would you like an airline miles card?

A point reward card? A cash rewards card? Some offer more than one incentive and you simply have to pick which you would like most. Some even offer interchangeable rewards. You are the one with the good credit card history; you have the high ground – so now all you have to do is decide.

One of the main types of rewards cards is the cash rewards card. You get cash back for qualifying purchases, but each credit card company will have a different method of calculating how much cash you get back. Some offer a flat percentage rate on your purchases, such as anywhere from 1 percent to 10 percent. Other card companies might have a tiered system with percentages ranging from 0.25 percent to 1 percent.

With the flat rate, it may take some time to get a decent amount of cash back, depending upon how much you spend in a year. Several cards will have certain provisions you must follow. For example, some might require that you carry a balance on your card, which means you cannot pay off your bill each month. Others may also have a cap on the amount you can earn, perhaps $50,000-60,000. If you are not a big spender and only spent perhaps $500 in a year on your card, you would only get back $5 with the 1 percent rate. Perhaps a point reward card would be better for you.

Point reward cards are the other type of rewards card that has seen an extreme boost in popularity. Again, each card company will have different stipulations for you to follow when it comes to using your card, as well as methods of calculating the number of points/miles/other rewards you receive depending upon the amount of money you spend.

Typically you can receive 1 point for every dollar you spend; some companies offer more. You can then take these points and redeem them for a multitude of things.

You might be able to redeem them for airline miles (unless you have an airline miles card, in which case you will automatically earn miles for your spending), gift cards for retailers, restaurants, or you may get money or rebates for future car purchases. Some companies will only have a certain number of places you can use your points. This will depend upon who the company has teamed up with or requested to work with in regards of offering rewards.

Every card is different, but you would be hard pressed to find a good credit card that would not work for you. The best way to do your research is not to wait for credit card offers to come to you in the mail. Even if they are semi-appealing, there is a good chance you could find an even better offer online.

Besides, if you are already pre-approved by a credit card company through the mail, it means you have good credit. Good credit means you will be likely to obtain an instant approval credit card offer online. It only takes them a few seconds to access your credit information and decide what sort of risk you are and whether or not they should issue you a card.

Online you can search for credit cards of all different types and credit card companies (Visa, Master Card, etc.). They will all lay out their incentives and much of their fine print so you can do even closer comparisons once you have narrowed your credit card search.

Once you have finally decided on the card that will benefit you the most, both in being the lowest APR credit card as well as offering you some great rewards you know you will enjoy, you can go ahead comparing best credit cards online. Every site will have credit card applications online and use every measure to ensure they are secure.

Now that you know being pre-approved is not just some annoying hoax by credit card companies to entice you to get another credit card, you can use that information to your advantage in order to get the credit card that you really want.

Even if you do not want to switch cards, do not forget the power you have with your company and you can always call them and ask for a better deal, which you have a very good chance at getting.

The statistics shows that young people became more reasonable in credit card management and most of them do not have loads of debts.
